Wall of Fame
An Outstanding College Athlete of America in 1975-76, Susan Meredith contributed to UW-La Crosse volleyball, basketball, track and field hockey. She has since played professional basketball and now coaches volleyball and basketball.
Meredith was a hitter on the 1972 state champion volleyball team and placed as a hurdler in the 1963 state track meet. A three-year member who became co-captain of the field hockey team, she was named to the North Central College Team in that sport. In basketball, she played center/forward on La Crosse's state championship team, gained all-conference honors and took part in the 1975 US Olympic Committee trials.
Her academic honors were as numerous; she made the Dean's List and was named to Ratom, Delta Psi Kappa and Who's Who. Meredith graduated in 1976. She played professional basketball with the Minnesota Fillies in 1979 and 1981.
