 Dave Saeger (1972-75)

Dave Saegar played two sports during college - football from 1972-74 and basketball during the 1973-74 season, earning letters in both each year.  Saeger holds two career campus gridiron records: third for most touchdowns receiving (20) and fifth for most receiving yards (1,786).

He signed as a free agent with the New York Jets in 1972.  Saeger calls a game -winning touchdown agains Aberdeen in 1973 and playing in a NAIA playoff game agains Elon College-- as his greatest collegiate athletic accomplishments.
