The University of Wisconsin – La Crosse Athletic Training Services team provides daily medical care for Eagle student athletes.  UW-La Crosse Athletics consists of 21 athletic teams of over 600 student athletes.  Our care team is comprised of 8 state-licensed and nationally certified athletic trainers, a Sport’s Medicine team physician, and a team orthopedic surgeon. This group of professionals provides care to all the Eagle student athletes both in-season and out-of-season.  Our team also works closely with a variety of health care providers on campus and in the La Crosse area.  We are dedicated to providing the highest qualify comprehensive care to support the student athletes in their pursuit of excellence.
 
Our main facility and offices are located in the lower level of Mitchell Hall, room 5.

Our on-site medical services include:

• Prevention, evaluation and treatment of injuries and illnesses
• Rehabilitation services
• Functional testing
• Concussion evaluation/treatment
• General nutritional counseling
• Mental health screening
• Drug and supplement education
• Referral to other healthcare providers
