Julia Rudd

Named to the All-WIAC Women's Cross Country and Women's Track & Field Team, Julia Rudd competed in cross country at UWL from 2001-03 and 2005 and in track & field from 2002-06.  She earned the WIAC individual cross country title in 2002 and 2005 while finishing second in 2003.  Rudd was a member of two team conference championship teams (2002, 2005).  She was a three-time NCAA Division III All-America in cross country, placing second in 2005, 23rd in 2002 and 26th in 2013. Rudd won the 2005 NCAA Division III Midwest Regional championship.

Rudd holds the school record in the indoor 5,000-meter run (17:05.81) and was a two-time NCAA III All-America in the event, placing fifth in 2006 and eighth in 2004.  She won the 3,000-meter run at the 2004 and 2006 WIAC Indoor Championship and the 5,000-meter run in 2003 and 2006. A member of three WIAC indoor championship teams (2003, 2004, 2005), Rudd was named the 2006 WIAC Track Performer of the Meet.

She earned four career outdoor NCAA III All-America accolades in the 3,000-meter steeplechase, including winning the national title and setting a national record in 2004.  Rudd was third nationally in 2002, 2005 and 2006 while also placing fifth in the 5,000-meter run in 2004 and sixth in 2006. 

The only three-time WIAC champion in the 3,000-meter steeplechase (2004, 2005, 2006), Rudd also won the conference outdoor title in the 5,000-meter run in 2004. She was named the 2006 WIAC Scholar-Athlete for the outdoor season while being a nominee for the NCAA Woman of the Year. Rudd helped lead UWL to two (2003, 2005) outdoor conference championships.
 
She earned her bachelor's degree in sport management in 2006. Rudd is CEO of Elite Onsite Fleet Services.
