Wall of Fame
Gordon J. Teigen coached UW-L men's bowling teams to four naitonal titles during his 15 years at the helm. His men's squad took NAIA titles in 1968 and 1969, the National Intercollegiate Bowling Association trophy in 1969 and the National Bowling Council--Intercollegiate Championship in 1985. His teams were runner-up to the 1970 and 1978 NAIA champs. His women's teams made five appearances at nationals. His men's teams took nine conference titles, while the women earned eight. In 1985, the bowling lanes in the university's Cartwright Center were named Teigen Lanes in his honor.
