Booman earned six National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) All-America honors at UWL, including winning the national title in the all-around in 2011. Her score of 38.650 set a school record and currently ranks tied for third in UWL history. She garnered five All-America honors in 2011. Along with the first-place finish in the all-around, Booman was third on the vault, fourth on the uneven parallel bars and balance beam and sixth on the floor exercise. Booman is the only gymnast in school history to earn five NCGA All-America honors in one championship meet.

One of four athletes in UWL history to win the all-around national title, Booman earned her sixth career All-America accolade with a fifth-place finish in the all-around in 2013. She also placed 10th in the all-around at the 2011 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I North Central Regional.

She won a pair of Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) titles, taking the uneven parallel bars (2012) and all-around (2013). Booman earned three WIAC Athlete of the Week honors.

A member of UWL's national championship team in 2011, Booman was also on the Eagles' second-place team in 2013, third-place finish in 2012 and fourth-place in 2014. She was on two (2012, 2014) WIAC Championship teams. Named to the 2014 NCGA All-Academic Team, Booman was a three-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.

A native of Spring Grove, Minnesota, Booman earned her bachelor's degree in recreation management with a minor in environmental studies in 2015.
