La Crosse, Wis. - Six University of Wisconsin-La Crosse student-athletes have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® Women's At-Large Team, the organization announced Tuesday.

Cottage Grove, Minn. (Park) from the lacrosse team earned accolades.
Majoring in exercise sport science - pre-occupational therapy with a minor of psychology, McBryde has a 3.71 cumulative grade point average as she earns her first CSC Academic All-District® honor. On the golf course, McBryde played in all 17 rounds this season and carried an 83.4 scoring average.
She shot her best 18-hole score of 77 and 36-hole score of 158 at the DIII Classic hosted by Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) on September 13-14. At the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships, McBryde finished tied for 19th out of 79 golfers.
Thoeny also earns her first CSC Academic All-District® honor as she carries a 4.00 grade point average with a finance major and psychology minor. Thoeny was the Eagles' top golfer this season as she played in all 17 rounds and led the Eagles with a season-low average of 80.4.
She finished with five top five individual finishes including earning medalist honors at the UW-Eau Claire Invitational on September 6-7. At the WIAC Championships, Thoeny finished fourth overall with a score of 238. Her fourth place finish helped Thoeny earn All-WIAC First Team honors after earning 2024 and 2025 second team accolades after her freshman and sophomore seasons.
Breckwoldt, an exercise sport science major and coaching minor with a 4.00 grade point average, earned a pair of National Collegiate Gymnastics Association (NCGA) All-America honors this season. She won the national title on the vault (9.800) and finished tied for seventh on the floor exercise (9.825). Both of her scores at the national championships were career bests.
Breckwoldt is a two-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and the Women's Collegiate Gymnastics Association (WCGA) Scholastic All-America Team. It is her first career CSC Academic All-District® award.
Majoring in psychology, Edwards maintains a 3.96 grade point average. Edwards picked up her second NCGA All-America honor on the floor exercise as she scored a 9.825 to finish tied for seventh with Breckwoldt. Her score at the championships was a career best in the floor exercise.
This is Edwards first CSC Academic All-District® honor while also being a two-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and the 2024-25 WCGA Scholastic All-America Team.
Schiltz was named the 2026 WIAC Judy Kruckman Scholar-Athlete in lacrosse, majoring in exercise sport science and minoring in nutrition with a 3.70 grade point average. She is a three-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and been recognized on UWL's Dean's List six semesters.
Named to the 2026 Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Senior All-Star Team, Schiltz earned her first career IWLCA All-Region honor after being selected to the All-West Region Second Team. Voted the 2026 WIAC Midfielder of the Year, Schiltz earned her third career all-conference first team selection this season. She is the only player in program history to receive All-WIAC First Team honors three consecutive years.
A two-year team captain, Schiltz owns the program record for goals in a season with 55 during the 2025 campaign. She is the Eagles' career leader in goals (223), assists (62), points (285) and shots (461). Schiltz started all 70 games in her four-year UWL career. She started all 18 games this year, leading UWL in assists (17), points (68), shots on goal (83) and game-winning goals (3). She tied for the team lead in goals (51) and shots (107). She is a Member of Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. Volunteered with EXPAND (Exercise Program for Adults with Neurological Disorders) and LEAP (Lower Extremity Amputee Program).
An exercise sport science major with a 3.75 grade point average, Maloney was also named to the 2024-25 CSC Academic All-District® Team. She is a three-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
Selected to the 2026 All-WIAC First Team, Maloney tied for the team lead in goals (51) and shots (107) this season while Schiltz led in assists (17) and points (68). Maloney finished second in points (67) and tied for second in assists (16). She led UWL in draw controls (78) and finished second in shots on goal (80) while starting all 18 games.
It marked her third career all-conference award after being named to the 2025 first team and 2024 honorable mention squad. She ranks second in school history in shots (302), tied for second in assists (55), and third in goals (140), points (195) and draw controls (187).
The 2026 Academic All-District® Women's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
NCAA and NAIA Men's At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Tuesday, July 7, 2026.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
