Menomonie, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team finished their 2025-26 season at the UW-Stout Spring Invite on Sunday afternoon. 
 

THE BASICS
Results: UW-Stout won the seven team tournament with a score of 313 while UW-Eau Claire was second with 326 points and UWL third with 332. In fourth place was UW-River Falls ( 335) followed by UW-Stevens Point (348), UW-Eau Claire B (361) and UW-Superior (367).

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Lauren Ambrookian, Haley Thoeny and Nora Gogin led the way for the Eagles as they tied for fourth place with an 80. 
• Next for the Eagles was Madeline Trannel in 28th place as she shot an 89.
• Allie McBryde finished the day with a 90 to finish 32nd overall. 
• Playing as individuals for the Eagles was Regan Hermanson (T-28th, 89), Lucy Nielsen (T-28th, 89) and Gabriella Matzek (T-34th, 91).
