Onalaska, Wis. - With three individuals among the top five, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team placed first at the UW-La Crosse Spring Invitational hosted at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek.
   
THE BASICS
Results:UWL won the one day invite with a score of 343 while the UWL B team finished second with 352 strokes. In third place was UW-River Falls (354) followed by UW-Oshkosh (360), UW-Eau CLaire (362), Viterbo University (365) and UW-Stevens Point (371).
LOCATION: Golf Club at Cedar Creek,  Onalaska, Wis.
Up Next: UWL will return action on April 12 and 13 when they play in the Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) Gustie Invite in Hastings, Minn. at Emerald Greens Golf Course. 

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Fernanda Ossa (UWL B) was the top Eagle finisher as she finished third with an 84.
• Allison Balduzzi, Allie McBryde,Haley Thoeny and Bethany Virduk (UWL B) all tied for fourth place with an 85.
• Claire Kelbel tied for 12th place with an 88 while Lucy Nielsen tied for 18th (91). 
• Kiya Bronston (UWL B) shot a 92 while Lauren Ambrookian finished with a 94 and Nora Gogin with a 95.
