Madison, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse lacrosse team faces 15th-ranked Colorado College in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Tournament (presented by Culver's) Semifinals on Friday, May 2. The Eagles, 10-5 on the season, are the tournament's fourth-seed while the Tigers, 16-3 on the year, are the top-seed.
Game time is 3 p.m. at UW-Eau Claire's Sonnentag Fieldhouse. Colorado College is ranked 15th in this week's Intercollegiate Women's Lacrosse Coaches Association (IWLCA) Division III Poll.
In the other semifinal, third-seeded UW-Eau Claire (10-6) plays second-seeded The College of Saint Benedict, Minn. (10-5) at 5:30 p.m. The winners advance to the WIAC Tournament Championship match at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, May 3. A third-place match will be played at 3 p.m. on May 3.

UWL advanced to the WIAC Championship game in its inaugural year last season. The Eagles earned a 16-8 win at UW-River Falls in the semifinals before falling, 16-5, to Colorado College in the title game.
Colorado College earned the WIAC regular-season title with a 9-0 league record. Saint Benedict (Minn.) and UW-Eau Claire both finished 7-2 while UWL tied for third with UW-River Falls with 6-3 conference records. The Eagles earned the league's fourth-seed for the tournament with a 14-13 victory over the Falcons on April 2 in La Crosse. Saint Benedict (Minn.) earned the second seed with its 12-6 home win over UW-Eau Claire on April 14.
The top-four teams in the conference standings advanced to the tournament conducted at the highest Wisconsin seed.
UWL is in its sixth year as a varsity sport while Colorado College is in its 31st. UW-Eau Claire is playing its fifth year as a varsity sport while Saint Benedict (Minn.) is in its third. The Bennies are in their first season in the WIAC for lacrosse, joining as an affiliate member. Saint Benedict (Minn.) won two Midwest Lacrosse Conference titles in 2023 and 2024.
Colorado College earned a 16-5 win at UWL on April 11.
Ava Schiltz led the Eagles with two goals while Peyton Murphy had a team-high four goals for the Tigers. UWL fell, 12-11, at Saint Benedict (Minn.) on April 5 and, 16-14, at UW-Eau Claire on April 23.

Nick Anagnostis, finished 5-2 at home during the regular season and 5-3 on the road.
Schiltz leads UWL in goals (52), assists (17), points (69), and shots (101) while ranking third in draw controls (46).
Megan Maloney is second in goals (41), assists (16), points (57), shots (89) and draw controls (69) while leading in ground balls (26).
Megan Feeney is third in goals (35) and points (41) while
Angie Olla leads in draw controls (75).
Evie Brilz is third in assists (12), tied for third in points (53) while ranking fourth in goals (27).
Stefania Rossi is 9-5 in goal while recording a 10.34 goals against average with a .461 save percentage.
