Eau Claire, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's golf team finished with nine of the top 13 scores as they finished first at the Georgianni Invitational hosted by UW-Eau CLaire Saturday and Sunday.

Results: UWL finished first with a team score of 681 (338, 343) while UWL B finished third overall with a score of 690 (343-347). In second place was Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) with a 683 while UW-Eau Claire was fourth (707) and UW-Platteville fifth (715).Â

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jenna Wiebke (UWL) and Sophie Denure (UWL B) shared medalist honors by each shooting a 164. Denure shot an 81 and an 83 while Wiebke shot an 84 on day one and an 80 on day two.Â
- Haley Thoeny tied for fourth with a 168 (82, 86) while Allison Balduzzi shot a 173 (89, 84) to finish tied for seventh.Â
- Also finishing in the top 13 was Claire Kelbel (11th, 176), Allie McBryde (12th, 177), Lauren Ambrookian (T-13th, 178), Erin Rosencrantz (T-13th, 178) and Grace Ellison (T-13th, 178).Â
