Onalaska, Wis. - With six individuals among the top 10, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team placed second at the UW-La Crosse Invitational hosted at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek.

THE BASICS
Results: After shooting a 313 in round one, the UWL A team shot a 312 to finish second with a two day total of 625. Winning the team title was UW-Stout who shot a tournament total 613 (298, 315). Rounding out the top five was UW-La Crosse B (648) in third, UW-La Crosse C (670) in fourth and UW-River Falls (674)in fifth. Earning Individual medalist honors was UW-Stout's Sydney Grimm with a 147 (70, 77).

HOW IT HAPPENED
- Jenna Wiebke (UWL A) shot a 74 in the first round and then a 75 in the second round for a 149 to finish tied for second.Â
- Erin Rosencrantz (UWL B) finished fifth after shooting 76 and an 80 for a tournament total 156. Â
- Finishing seventh overall was Grace Ellison (UWL A) with a 158 (74, 84) while Haley Thoeny was eighth with 159 (83, 76).Â
- Also finishing in the top ten was Claire Kelbel (82, 79) and Allison Balduzzi (77, 84) who tied for ninth with a 161. Â
