Onalaska, Wis. - With three individuals sitting among the top five, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team is in second place after day one of the UW-La Crosse Invite.
 

THE BASICS
Results: UWL A is in second place (313) as UW-Stout leads the way with a team score of 298. Rounding out the top five was UW-La Crosse B (317) in third, UW-La Crosse C (329) in fourth and UW-Eau Claire (342) in fifth.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Jenna Wiebke (UWL A) and Grace Ellison (UWL A) are tied for second place as they shot a 74 while Erin Rosencrantz (UWL B) is tied for fith with a 76.  
• Allison Balduzzi (UWL B) is tied for the seventh with a 77 while Bethany Vidruk (UWL C) and Lucy Nielsen (UWL C) are tied for ninth with a 79. 
• Also finishing in the top 15 was Claire Kelbel (T-12th, 82), Lauren Ambrookian(T-12th, 82), Kiya Bronston (T-12th, 82), Haley Thoeny (T-15th, 83) and Allie McBryde (T-15th, 83).

• The Eagles will be back on the course for round two of the UWL Invite on Sunday with tee times starting at 11 a.m. at the Golf Club at Cedar Creek.
