Prescott, Wis. - With three individuals sitting among the top six, the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team is in second place after day one of the Falcon Invite hosted by UW-River Falls.

Results: UWL is in second place (329) as UW-Stout leads the way with a team score of 312. Rounding out the top five was Dakota Wesleyan (337) in third, UW-Platteville (345) in fourth and UW-Stout B (347) in fifth.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, UWL sits in second place out of the eight school, 13-team tournament with a day one score of 329. UWL's B team shot a 355 and is in seventh place while UWL C finished with a 359 and is tied for eighth.
- Jenna Wiebke led the Eagles in first round by shooting a 77 which puts her in four place.
- Haley Thoeny and Grace Ellison each shot an 81 and are tied for sixth place.
- The UWL B team was led by Allison Balduzzi with an 85 while Bethany Vidruk shot an 88.
- Allie McBryde led the UWL C team by shooting an 88.
