Reedsburg, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team is in third place after two rounds of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships (presented by Culvers) Saturday afternoon at Reedsburg Country Club.

What is at stake: The team winner receives an automatic bid to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships scheduled for May 13-16, 2025 at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, the Eagles shot a 329 in round one and 319 in round two for a team score of 648 and are 23 strokes behind UW-Whitewater (625) who is in first place. UW-Stout is in second place with a 633. In fourth place is UW-Oshkosh with a 656 followed by UW-Platteville (671) in fifth place, UW-Eau CLaire in sixth (782), UW-River Falls in seventh (693) and UW-Stevens Point in eighth (711).
- Allison Balduzzi leads the Eagles as she shot an 82 and 77 (159) and is tied for fifth place. Balduzzi is 11 strokes back to championship leader Julia Imai (UW-Stout).
- Next for the Eagles is Jenna Wiebke in ninth place with a two round total of 160 (84-76) while Haley Thoeny is in 13th place with a 164 (83, 81).
- Tied for 21st is Grace Ellison (81, 87) and Claire Kelbel (83, 85) with a 168.
- Eagles playing as individuals was Sophie Denure(78, 87 - 165 T17th), Allie McBryde(80, 87 - 167 T-19th), Erin Rosencrantz (82, 86 - 168 T-21st), Lucy Nielsen (92, 80 - 172 T-34th) Fernanda Ossa (85, 96 - 181 T-50th), Bethany Vidruk (87, 94 -181 T-50th) and Nora Gogin (91, 103 - T-65th).
