Reedsburg, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team sits in fourth place after round one of the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Championships (presented by Culvers) Friday afternoon at Reedsburg Country Club.

What is at stake: The team winner receives an automatic bid to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships scheduled for May 13-16, 2025 at Bay Oaks Country Club in Houston, Texas.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, the Eagles shot a 329 to be in fourth place after the first round. The Eagles are 14 strokes behind tournament leader UW-Whitewater (315). UW-Oshkosh (320) is in second place while UW-Stout (322) is third, UW-Platteville (330) fifth, UW-River Falls (344) sixth, UW-Eau Claire (348) seventh and UW-Stevens Point (356) eighth.
- For the team portion, Grace Ellison was the low scorer for the Eagles with an 81 and is tied for the 10th. One stroke back of Ellison was Allison Balduzzi (82) who is tied for 12th.
- Tied for 18th was Claire Kelbel and Haley Thoeny who each shot an 83. Then tied for 25th was Jenna Wiebke who shot an 84.
- Eagles playing as individuals was Sophie Denure (78, T-5th), Allie McBryde (80, T-7th), Erin Rosencrants (82, T-12th), Fernanda Ossa (85, T-33rd), Bethany Vidruk (87, T-38th), Nora Gogin (91, T-50th) and Lucy Nielsen (92, T-54th).

- Round two of the WIAC Championships will start at 8:30 a.m. on Saturday morning. The Third and final round of the championships is scheduled to tee off at 8:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.
