Madison, Wis. – Three members of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's tennis team have been named to the 2025-26 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Team, the league office announced Thursday.

Appleton (Kimberly) were voted to the All-WIAC West Division First Team Singles while senior
Brady Horstmann of
Cedar Rapids, Iowa (Xavier) was named to the All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team and selected the WIAC Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete.
Meixl was also named the WIAC West Division Newcomer of the Year.
Schneider went 11-8 overall in singles this season, including 10-7 at No. 1. He finished 1-1 at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional. Schneider went 13-6 in doubles, advancing to the quarterfinals at the ITA Midwest Regional with
Jack Hehli.
It is Schneider's second straight selection to the All-WIAC West Division First Team in singles. He was named the 2024-25 WIAC West Division Newcomer of the Year after going 15-7 in singles and 16-5 in doubles.
Meixl finished 16-6 in singles this year, including 2-1 at No. 1 and 12-4 at No. 2. He went 3-0 in WIAC duals and 2-1 at the ITA Midwest Regional. Meixl finished 13-6 in doubles, including 2-1 in conference play with
Kyle Hehli.

Horstmann was 13-8 in singles this season, going 4-0 at No. 5 and 6-6 at No. 6. He finished 6-1 in doubles. It marks his third straight year being named to the All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team. Horstmann finished 49-40 in his career in singles play and 40-29 in doubles.
He is the first UWL student-athlete to be named the WIAC Max Sparger Scholar-Athlete since the conference reinstated the sport in 2023-24. Horstmann is majoring in biochemistry and biomedical science with a 3.79 cumulative grade point average. He is a three-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and two-year member of the ITA Scholar-Athlete Team. Horstmann has been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District Team® the last two years.
