Madison, Wis. - Each week during the 2025-26 academic year, the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) will feature two student-athletes (one male and one female) from one of its eight institutions for a "Student-Athlete Spotlight" Q&A segment. The segments will be posted every Thursday and individuals are selected by the institution.  The WIAC Student-Athlete Spotlights are presented by Culver's.

Senior Jack Hehli of West Salem (H.S.) finished 4-0 in singles and 13-10 in doubles. Hehli and Tyler Schneider advanced to the quartefinals in doubles at the 2025 Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional. He went 41-27 in his career in singles and 50-36 in doubles.

He is a biomedical science major and chemistry minor. Hehli is a two-time College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® selection and been a member of UWL's Dean's List each semester. He is a three-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and was named to the 2024-25 ITA Scholar-Athlete Team.

Why did you choose UW-La Crosse?
Being from the area, I originally planned to move away to explore somewhere new. After touring and seeing what UWL had to offer, I couldn't find a place that had more to offer and would be a better fit for me. After four years here, looking back I would make the same decision every time.
