Green Bay (Ashwaubenon) has been named Track Performer of the Meet, sophomore
Landon Gallun of Jackson (Whitefish Bay) named Newcomer of the Year and the men's track and field coaching staff claimed Coaching Staff of the Year.
Luke Schroeder
Luke Schroeder, Senior, 110-meter hurdles, 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, Javelin
- At this year's outdoor championships, Schroeder won two event titles and finished second in two other events.
- First, Schroeder broke an National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) III record in the 110-meter hurldes to win a conference championship. Schroeder's time of 13.32 broke the national record of 13.55.
- Schroeder also won a WIAC title in the 200-meter dash with a time of 21.13. So far this season, Schroeder has the second fastest time in the WIAC set at 20.78.
- With a time of 10.25 in the 100-meter dash, Schroeder finished second.
- In the field, Schroeder threw the javelin 177-0 to finish second overall.
Landon Gullun
Landon Gallun, Sophomore, 100-meter dash, 200-meter dash, 4x100-meter relay
- Gallun finished on the podium in all three events he competed in at the WIAC Outdoor Championships.
- With a time of 10.47 in the 100-meter dash, Gallun finished fifth overall.
- In the 200-meter dash, Gallun wasa seventh with a time of 22.14.
- Gallun was then a member of the Eagles 4x100-meter relay team which finished second with a time of 40.35.
- So far this season, Gallun has the seventh fastest time in the WIAC in both the 100-meter and 200-meter dash.
Josh Buchholtz
Josh Buchholtz, 18th Season
- UWL has been named the WIAC Outdoor Coaching Staff of the Year four straight times in the past six seasons. Prior to the 2018-19 season, the award was named WIAC Coach of the Year which Coach Buchholtz received the honor 10 times.
- UWL won their 16th WIAC Outoor Championship under Buchholtz.
- UWL won 11 individual titles at this year's league championships while recording a WIAC record 335 team points.
- Buchholtz and the Eagles will be looking for their third consecutive National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Outdoor Championship May 21-23. UWL has won six outdoor NCAA III titles (2013, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2024, 2025) under the direction of Coach Buchholtz.
- Buchholtz is joined by Nick Kohl, Derek Stanley, Doug Geiwitz, Matt Gordy, Mark Guthrie, Tommy Knoche, Jim Nelson, Jakob Tordsen and Phil Esten on this year's coaching staff.
