Onalaska, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team finished second at the UWL Spring Invite on Sunday at The Golf Course at Cedar Creek. 
 
THE BASICS
Results: As a team, UWL finished finished one stroke back (333) of tournament champion UW-River Falls who finished with a 332. In third place was UW-Eau Claire who shot a 340 while UW-Oshkosh and UW-La Crosse (B) tied for fourth with a 345. 
LOCATION: The Golf Course at Cedar Creek, Onalaska, Wis. (Par 72, 5,612 yards)

HOW IT HAPPENED

• Allie McBryde was the top Eagle performer on Sunday as she finished second with an 80.
• Also finishing in the top five was Haley Thoeny as she was fifth overall with an 82.
• In tenth place was Madeline Trannel with an 85 while Allison Balduzzi shot an 86 to finish 14th.
• Kiya Bronston finished 33rd overall with a 93. 
• Playing in the second group of five for the Eagles was Lauren Ambrookian (83, 7th), Nora Gogin (85, 10th), Gabriella Matzek (87, 16th), Regan Hermanson (90, T-23rd) and Lucy Nielsen (90, T-23rd).

• UWL will finish up their 2025-26 season on Sunday, May 3rd when they travel to Menomonie, Wis. to play in the UW-Stout Invite at Tanglewood Golf Course.
