La Crosse, Wis. – The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Men's Track and Field hosted the UWL Final Qualifier Saturday afternoon at Hetzel Fieldhouse.

FIELD EVENTS

Triple Jump: William Cady placed second with a jump of 47-5 1/4.
Long Jump: With a jump of 23-8 1/4, Carter Pearson captured the long jump title.
Weight Throw: Finishing third in the weight throw was Logan Powers with a mark of 59-8 1/2.
Pole Vault: Andrew Tumminaro placed second in the pole vault with a mark of 16-1 3/4.

TRACK EVENTS

60-meter hurdles – Lukas Johnson the lone Eagle to finish in the top five as he finished third with a time of 8.13.
800-meter – Owen Klaus won the 800-meter title with a time of 1:54.54.
200-meter – Luke Vance placed second with a time of 22.01 in the 200-meter run.
400-meter – With a time of 48.37, Chase Doornink placed second in the 400-meter run.
Mile – Joey Sullivan placed third in the mile with a time of 4:10.29.
4x400 – The relay team of Jacob Hohman, Andrew Hackbarth, Devin Williams, and Dirk Lueck set a facility and meet record in the 4x400 with a time of 3:13.24.
Heptathalon - Bryant Yanke placed second in the heptathalon at the Wartburg College (Iowa) Qualifier with 4,864 points.
