New Orleans, La. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse Senior Sam Blaskowski of Oshkosh (West) has been named the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) Outstanding Track Performer of the Meet honors for his efforts at the 2025 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Outdoor Championships, the organization announced Wednesday. 

 
Sam Blaskowski, Senior, sprints

• This past weekend Blaskowski became only the second sprinter in NCAA III history to win four consecutive national titles in the 100-meter dash. He won the 2025 title with a time of 10.14. 
• Blaskowski set the NCAA III national record of 10.05 seconds at the UWL Final Qualifier on May 14.
• He followed up his 100-meter dash performance by winning the 200-meter run for his second consecutive national championship with a time of 20.35.
• Earlier in the day on Saturday, Blaskowski was a part of the 4x100-meter relay team that won its third straight national title. The Eagles ran an NCAA III Championship meet record time of 39.66.
• With his three NCAA III All-American honors at this year's championships, Blaskowski finishes his UWL career with 14 All-America Outdoor honors including four in each of the 100-meter, 200-meter and 4x100 relay along with two in the long jump. 
• Blaskowski's success also contributed to the Eagles winning back-to-back NCAA III Team Outdoor National Championships as well. 

Each year, the USTFCCCA honors the Outstanding Performers of the Championships at both the NCAA Division III Indoor and Outdoor Track & Field Championships. Winners are determined using a formula that adds together team points scored, plus meet records (five additional points), Division III seasonal bests (three additional points) and facility records (one point). Relay points, if applicable, are split equally among the four team members.
