Madison, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's tennis team completed its fall season competing at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Invitational Sunday in the Nielsen Tennis Center. No team scores were recorded.
UWL swept all three doubles flights on Sunday.

Lily Jorgenson won the No. 1 title with a 3-0 record, defeating Ashlyn Dellemann/Molly Garber of UW-Stout in the first round (6-2). The duo defeated Abby Weaver/Crystina Lee of UW-Whitewater in the semifinals (6-3) and won the flight with a victory over Chloe Regal/Annie Wierzbicki of UW-Stevens Point (6-2) in the championship match.

Maia Samuelson won the No. 2 doubles flight. After a first round bye, Cady/Samuelson defeated Kiera Schmid/Delaney Hanson of UW-Eau Claire (6-1) in the semifinals and captured the title with a win over Kayla Gibbs/Jameson Gregory of UW-Oshkosh (6-1).
At the No. 3 doubles flight, Izzy Brinkman/
Emma Kappel captured the crown with a 2-0 mark. They received a first round bye and then earned a win over Stella Platt/Morgan Briggman of UW-Eau Claire (6-2) in the semifinals. The duo defeated Sarah Schaeffer/Brianna Owens of UW-Oshkosh (6-3) for the championship.
UWL's three singles players all placed second on Sunday.
Shelby Roth finished second at No. 1 singles,
Caitlyn Stadter second at No. 2 and
Lauren Lindow third at No. 3. All three players went 2-1 in the invitational.
The Eagles clinched the WIAC regular season title with a victory over UW-Oshkosh on October 14. UWL is 9-0 overall in duals, including finishing 6-0 in conference matches.
It is UWL's 16
th league title in school history and first since 2006. Head coach
Bill Hehli has led the Eagles to four (2003, 2005, 2006, 2025) WIAC regular season championships. UWL finished undefeated in conference duals for the third time (2005, 2006, 2025).
The conference champion is determined by regular season standings. The WIAC Tournament will be held in April 2026 with the winner earning the league's automatic bid to the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships.
UWL returns to action Sunday, March 1 versus Bethel University (Minn.) in Rogers, Minnesota at 11 a.m.
