Viterbo Spring Invite
Trempealeau, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team captured the Viterbo University (Wis.) Spring Invitational Sunday at Trempealeau Mountain Golf Club.
UWL finished with a team score of 335 while UW-Stout was second with 342 and UW-Stevens Point third with 357. Viterbo (Wis.) placed fourth with a team score of 365 while UW-River Falls finished fifth with 371.
The Eagles had six golfers in the top-11 on Sunday.
Nora Cerroni placed second overall with a round of 80 (+9) with
Haley Thoeny third with a score of 81 (+10). UWL's
Lauren Ambrookian was sixth (85, +14) and
Grace Ellison seventh (86, +15).
Allison Balduzzi and
Sophie Denure tied for 10th (88, +17).
Other finishers included
Erin Rosencrantz placing 15th (90, +19) with
Allie McBryde and
Kiya Bronston tied 18th (93, +22) and
Claire Kelbel 34th (102, +31). A total of 39 golfers completed the round.
Sydney Grim of UW-Stout took individual medalist honors (77, +6).
UWL returns to action Saturday, April 27 at the UW-Stout Invitational in Hammond, Wisconsin at Pheasant Hills Golf Course.
