HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, UWL is in second place after round 1 of the eight school, nine-team tournament with a day one total of 165. The Eagles are five strokes back of tournament leader Illinois Wesleyan University.
- The tournament experienced a weather delay and round one was limited to just nine holes. Round two will consist of 18 holes.
- Nora Cerroni is one stroke back of first place leader Macy Ludwig of Illinois Wesleyan. Cerroni shot a 3-over par 39 to be tied for second.
- Allison Balduzzi is tied for fourth place as she shot a 40 in round one.
- Sophie Denure shot a 42 as she is tied for seventh place.
- Tied for 13th place is Andrea Schleeper as she shot 42 while Grace Ellison is tied for 23rd with a 46.
