Eau Claire, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's golf team finished tied for third and fifth at the Georianni Invitational hosted by UW-Eau Claire Saturday/Sunday.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, UWL finished tied for 3rd in the 10 school, 11 team tournament with a two-day total of 663 (335-328), 12 strokes behind Invite champion Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) (326-325, 651).
- Andrea Schleeper led the Eagles with a two-day total of 161 (82-79) for fifth place while Claire Kelbel was tied for 12th with a total of 167 (86-81).
- Sophie Denure tied for 17th with a 170 (85, 85) while Allison Balduzzi (89-83) and Nora Cerroni tied for 25th with a 172 (82, 90).
- UWL's B-team was led by Grace Ellison who finished tied for eighth with a 164 (80-84) while Jenna Wiebke was 11th with a 166 (81-85)
- Next was Erin Rosencrantz who tied for 12th with a 167 (85-85).
- Haley Thoeny tied for 17th with a 170 (86-84) while Lauren Ambrookian finished tied for 48th with a 182 (91-91)
