Stevens Point, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team finished third as a team at the Mad Dawg Invite hosted by UW-Stevens Point at SenturyWorld Golf Club.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- As a team, UWL finished third at the eight school, nine-team tournament with a two day total of 504. The Eagles finished behind tournament winner UW-Whitewater (481) and Illinois Wesleyan University (482).
- The tournament experienced a weather delay and round one was limited to just nine holes. Round two consisted of 18 holes.
- Allison Balduzzi was the Eagles top finisher as she finished tied for sixth with a 121 while Nora Cerroni finished tied for eighth with a 122.
- Sophie Denure shot a 128 as she finished 14th.
- Next for the Eagles was Andrea Schleeper who finished 20th with a 133.
- Grace Ellison shot a 137 to finish tied for 24th.

- The Eagles will finish up their fall portion of the 2023-24 schedule at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships October 6-8 at the Reedsburg Country Club in Reedsburg, Wis. Round one will tee off at 11 a.m. on Friday, October 6th while rounds two and three at 8:30 a.m.
