Hastings, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team placed fourth at the D3 Classic Sunday afternoon at Emerald Greens Golf Course. The Eagles finished with a two-day total of 635 (317-318).
Grace Ellison
Bethel University (Minn.) took the team title with a score of 606 (306-300) with Carleton College (Minn.) second at 612 (308-304) and St. Catherine University (Minn.) third at 613 (308-305). Gustavus Adolphus College, Minn. (320-316) and UW-Stout (324-312) tied for fifth. A total of 17 teams competed.

Kyra Venne of St. Catherline (Minn.) won medalist honors with a two-day score of 145 (72-73), finishing -1. A total of 106 golfers completed both rounds.
UWL returns to action Saturday, September 24 hosting the UWL Invitational starting at 1 p.m. at The Golf Club at Cedar Creek in Onalaska.
