Northfield, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse golf team placed second at the Northfield Challenge Sunday at Northfield Country Club. The Eagles finished with a team total of 345 (+57) while Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) took the team title at 336 (+48).
Carleton College (Minn.) was third with a team score of 366 (+78) and The College of St. Scholastica (Minn.) fourth at 386 (+98).
UWL's
Andrea Schleeper and
Maija Tanberg tied for third with rounds of 84 (+12). The Eagles'
Molly Larsen tied for eighth with a round of 87 (+15) while
Abby DeMoe tied for 11th at 90 (+18).
Grace Ellison was 14th overall with a round of 91 (+19) with
Erin Rosencrantz finished 21st at 98 (+26).
Emily Kratz of Gustavus Adolphus (Minn.) took medalist honors with a round of 80 (+8).
