Alex Alt of
Appleton (Kimberly) has been named the All-New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) West Division Men's Tennis Team. He is one of six players selected to the All-NJAC Singles Team.
Alt went 7-5 at No. 1 singles in 2020-21. He teamed with
Alex Moore to go 5-5 at No. 2 doubles.
Alt finished 40-25 in singles in his four-year career at UWL and 41-22 in doubles. He went 1-1 in singles at the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Midwest Regional in 2018 and 2019. In doubles play, Alt and
Matt Riley advanced to the ITA Midwest Regional Championships in 2017 with a 3-1 record. Alt and
Kyle Wogahn went 1-1 at the 2018 ITA Midwest Regional.
He earned four letters at Kimberly High School, being a four-time Wisconsin Interscholastic Athletic Association (WIAA) state qualifier. He placed fifth in singles at the state championships as a senior. A four-time Kimberly Scholar-Athlete, Alt earned Fox Valley Association Conference First Team and Second Team honors during his career.
UWL joined the NJAC as an affiliate member at the beginning of the 2019-20 academic year. The Eagles' conference season in 2019-20 was canceled due to the COVID-19 public health threat.
