River Falls, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's track & field team continued its 2021 indoor season with a 65-42 dual loss at UW-River Falls Saturday in Knowles Field House.
The Eagles earned four individual titles on Saturday, including two on the track and two in the field events.
Dillon Murman captured (8.34) the 60-meter hurdles and
Ethan Gregg the 5,000-meter run (14:37.66).
UWL's
Matt Haynes won the high jump (6-1 1/4) while
Ben Jones captured the pole vault (12-11 1/2).
Other top finishes on the track Saturday included
Carson Reilly second (8.42) in the 60-meter hurdles,
Alex Turner second (1:56.16) in the 800-meter run and
Tyler Kisting third (1:58.37).
Isaac Wegner placed second (15:10.89) in the 5,000-meter run.
In the field events,
Gunnar Block was second (12-11 1/2) in the pole vault while
Evan Daley placed second (38-4 3/4) and Jones third (37-1) in the shot put.
The Eagles' 4x400-meter relay of
Dirk Lueck,
Nathan Schacherl, Turner and
Jace Serres finished second (3:35.85)
