Minneapolis, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse wrestling team competed at the Augsburg University (Minn.) Auggie Invitational Saturday in Si Melby Hall. No team scores were recorded, but the Eagles earned four individual titles in Saturday's Gold Division.

Ben Kawczynski (285) all won titles.
Ben Kawczynski won the 285-pound division.
Sarbacker went 4-0 on the day, opening with a decision (3-1) over Hunter Pfantz of Southwest Minnesota State University. He won by fall (4:19) over Dawson Husted of Central College (Iowa) in the quarterfinals and by decision (2-0) over Kieler Carlson of Augsburg (Minn.) in the semifinals. Sarbacker took the 133-pound title with a decision (1-0) over Kaden Anderlik of Upper Iowa University.
Jahn went 3-0 at 184-pounds. He received a first round bye and won by fall (2:31) over Alex Witte of UW-Platteville in the quarterfinals. Jahn won by decision (5-4) over Nick Rogge of Augsburg (Minn.) in the semifinals and took the title by medical forfeit over Brandon Tessau of UW-Platteville.
Going 4-0 in the tournament, Lahr won by decision (9-2) over Justin Henry of Wartburg College (Iowa) in the first round. He advanced with a win by fall (:45) over UW-Platteville's Max Schmitz in the quarterfinals and won by technical fall (16-0) over Bentley Schwanebeck-Ostermann of Augsburg (Minn.) in the semifinals. Lahr won by fall (2:58) over Donovan Corn of Luther College (Iowa) in the championship match.
Kawczynski also went 4-0 on Saturday, winning by decision (5-0) over Brett Schoenherr of UW-Platteville in the opening round. He won by decision (3-2) over Cullen Quick of Luther (Iowa) in the quarterfinals and by major decision (9-0) over Neil Hanson of Southwest Minnesota State in the semifinals. Kawczynski won the 285-pound division with a decision (2-0) over Tyler Kim of Augsburg (Minn.).
In other results in the Gold Division, Seth Brossard and Noah Leisgang both went 3-0 at 165-pounds with one win by fall. The championship match was not held.
Five wrestlers placed on Saturday with Nolan Hertel (157), Nick Fetzner (165) and Luke Clark (174) all finishing third while Brandon Murphy (125) and Isaac Gust (184) were fourth. Hertel and Fetzner were 3-1 while Clark went 2-1. Murphy and Gust finished 2-2. Clark and Gust each had one win by fall.
Zach Weiler (133) went 2-1 in the Gold Division while Nolan Paar (174) finished 2-2 with one win by fall. Julian Purney (141), Jake Mandt (149), Kaleb O'Reilly (165), Dawson Dembroski (165), Wyatt Simon (174) and Marcus Orlandoni (197) each went 1-2. Simon and Orlandoni earned their wins by fall. Tyler Goebel (149) and Cole Hansen (157) both went 0-2.
In the Freshmen Division, UWL's
Logan Stafford (197) placed third with a 2-1 record while
Michael Douglas (285) was fourth with a 1-2 mark.
Cael Weinzweig (125) went 2-2 in the Freshmen Division while
Jude Ryan (149) finished 1-2.
UWL returns to action Saturday, December 4 hosting North Central College (Ill.) at 9 a.m. and Coe College (Iowa) at noon.
