Pointer Qualifier Meet Results
Stevens Point, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team competed at the UW-Stevens Point Qualifier Meet Saturday afternoon. No team scores were kept, but the Eagles'
Kailey Charlton and 4x400-meter relay both met the provisionally qualifying standards for next weekend's NCAA Division III Indoor Championships.
Charlton won the 55-meter dash (7.12) while the 4x400-meter relay of
Laurel Beck,
Caitlin Wipperman,
Rebecca Scheuermann and
Jenna Halvorson were second overall (3:54.41).
Other finishers Saturday included
Hannah Mueller second in the 55-metr dash (7.41) while Beck was fourth in the 400-meter dash (58.67).
Maggie May finished third in the triple jump (36-10 1/4) while
Katlin Genthe tied for third in the pole vault (11-6 1/4).
The Eagles'
Amy Jo Garinger,
Megan Marfilius and
Kayla Ashland tied for fifth in the high jump (5-2 1/4).
UW-L returns to action Friday, March 11 at the NCAA III Indoor Championships in Columbus, Ohio.
