Eau Claire, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team competed at the UW-Eau Claire Dick & Mary Johnson Invitational Saturday at Simpson Field. No team scores were recorded.
The Eagles won three event titles on Saturday, including two on the track.
Macy Reybrock took the 800-meter run (2:16.82) and
Molly Novotny the 1,500-meter run (4:26.12). Novotny broke the school record in the 1,500-meter run, breaking the record of 4:30.46 set by Maddie Hannan in 2023. Novotny also set a meet and facility record with her victory.

In the field events,
Jenna Miller won the long jump (18-4 1/4), setting a meet record.
Other top six finishers on the track included
Nora Jillson second (2:16.91),
Grace Kern third (2:18.22) and
Kaleigh Burns fourth (2:18.85) in the 800-meter run while
Brooklyn Luebke finished second (4:33.75) in the 1,500-meter run with
Annika Elliott third (4:38.87),
Kylie Stockton fifth (4:49.57) and
Sydney Dee sixth (4:50.64).
Taylor Molling placed second (12.15),
Marley McIntyre third (12.43) and
Stella Arn fifth (12.51) in the 100-meter dash with
McKenna Sedlacek finished second (25.09) and
Sarah Grubbs fifth (25.45) in the 200-meter dash.
Natasha Tiry was fifth (59.50) and
Mia Hanger sixth (59.60) in the 400-meter dash.
UWL had three of the top four finishers in the 100-meter hurdles as
Olivia Navin placed second (14.82),
Brie Eckerman third (14.90) and
Megan Zemke fourth (14.91).
Gretchen McNeal was fourth (1:04.84) in the 400-meter hurdles.
In Saturday's field events,
Jenna Richgels finished third (17-11) and Rachel Halveron fifth (17-7 1/2) in the long jump with
Samantha Barrett second (38-8 3/4) in the triple jump.
Madison McCullum finished third (5-4 1/4),
Izzy Bender fourth (5-2 1/4) and
Erin Gluch tied for sixth (5-0 1/4) in the high jump.
UWL's Nora DeMaria placed fifth (11-6 1/2) and
Amanda VanCalster sixth (11-6 1/2) in the pole vault.
Noelle Hackenmueller was third (123-11) and
Jillian Anderson sixth (111-0) in the javelin throw.
Lydia Delene placed fifth (40-6) in the shot put.
Chloe Kessenich was sixth (132-7) in the discus throw.
UWL returns to action Friday, May 1 hosting the Wisconsin intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships at Roger Harring Stadium at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. Action starts at 12 p.m.
