Azusa, Calif. – Members of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field team completed final day action Saturday at the Azusa Pacific University (Calif.) Bryan Clay Invitational. No team scores were recorded.
The Eagles'
Anna Plautz set a school record in the 400-meter dash, placing 13th overall with a time of 54.37. She broke Bria Halama's record of 54.83 set in 2015.
Andie Otto was 15th (1:01.33) in the 400-meter hurdles on Saturday. UWL had three sprinters in the 200-meter dash with
Makenna Zak finishing 43rd (24.86),
Julie Yang 55th (25.07) and
Anika Reiland 62nd (25.20).
UWL had a pair of relays as Yang, Rieland, Zak and Plautz finished sixth (46.11) and Plautz, Ali Thomas,
Zoe Lain and Otto placed 11th (3:44.57).
In the open competition of the long jump,
Maya Evans finished third (18-11 3/4).
UWL returns to action Wednesday, April 22 at the University of Minnesota Gary Wilson Invitational at 12 p.m.
