Columbus, Ohio - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track & field squad completed first day action at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Indoor Championships Friday night in the Capital Center Fieldhouse. The Eagles did not score a point in Friday's action.
UW-Oshkosh leads with 17.0 points while Gustavus Adolphus College (Minn.) is second with 12.0. Middlebury College (Vt.), Methodist University (Tenn.) and Ithaca College (N.Y.) are tied for third with 10.0. Williams College (Mass.), Washington University (Mo.), Wartburg College (Iowa) and the University of Rochester (N.Y.) are tied for sixth with 8.0. Keene State College (N.H.), Illinois College, Carthage College (Wis.) and Baldwin-Wallace College (Ohio) are tied for 10th with 6.0 points.

Kailey Charlton advanced to Saturday's 55-meter dash after finishing with a qualifying time of 7.17 in Friday's preliminaries.
Charlton also competed in the long jump Friday, placing 15th overall (16-8).
