Madison, Wis. - University of Wisconsin-La Crosse senior
Chelsea Hoff of
Middleton (H.S.) has been named the 2010 Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Judy Kruckman Women's Swimming and Diving Scholar-Athlete.
Hoff boasts a 4.00 grade point average and is majoring in exercise and sports science-fitness. She was named to the 2009 CoSIDA/
ESPN The Magazine Academic All-America College Division Women's At-Large First Team. After transferring from the University of Iowa following her freshman year, Hoff is a nine-time member of UW-La Crosse's Dean's List and two-time selection to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
A six-time first team NCAA Division III All-American and six-time honorable mention All-American, she has claimed WIAC Swimmer of the Meet honors three consecutive seasons. A team captain this season, Hoff owns nine individual and 11 relay conference crowns. She has produced WIAC meet records in the 50-yard freestyle, 100-yard backstroke, 200-yard backstroke, 200-yard freestyle relay, 400-yard freestyle relay, 200-yard medley relay and 400-yard medley relay. Hoff also owns numerous school records and Mitchell Hall pool records.
Hoff is a member of UW-La Crosse's Fitness/Sport Management Club and has worked at Gundersen Lutheran in the Community and Preventive Care Services Unit. She is the eighth individual in program listings to claim the conference's scholar-athlete honor.
