New Fanken (Luxemburg Casco) has been named to the 2026 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Academic All-District® Team, selected by the College Sports Communicators (CSC), the organization announced Tuesday.

- This is Deprez third time earning CSC Academic All-District® honors as he was selected in 2024 and 2025.
- Deprez is a finance major with a 3.75 grade point average
- He finished the 2026 season with a 9-1 record in 12 appearances including nine starts.
- In 71.1 innings of work, Deprez finished with a 2.40 earned run average with a team high 76 strikeouts.
- Last week Tuesday, Deprez was named to the American Baseball Coaches Association/Rawlings All-Region Second Team while also being named to the D3baseball.com All-Region Third Team.
- Deprez finishes his Eagle career with an impressive 26-4 record including suffering just one loss each season. His 26 wins sits atop the school's all-time wins record.
- The all-time wins record is not the only record Deprez broke this season as he also surpassed the all-time strikeout record as he finishes his career with 266.
The 2026 Academic All-District® Baseball Team, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the field and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes baseball honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA. Academic All-District® honorees are considered for advancement to the CSC Academic All-America® ballot.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the 2025-26 Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
