La Crosse, Wis. – Five members of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse softball team have been named to the 2026 All-Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Team, including two first team selections, the league announced Wednesday.

Dousman (Kettle Moraine) and outfielder
Amber Gonzalez of
Mosinee (H.S.) were voted to the All-WIAC First Team while junior shortstop
Brooke Howard of
Rock Falls, Ill. (H.S.) and senior catcher
Marissa Pease of
Mukwonago (H.S.) were selected to the All-WIAC Honorable Mention Team.
Carmen Follette finished 10-6 this season.
Senior first baseman/outfielder
Aliyah Langrehr of
Bangor (H.S.) was named to the All-WIAC Sportsmanship Team.
The Eagles have now had at least two players named to the all-conference first team in 16 of the last 17 seasons.
Follette went 10-6 this season with a 1.92 earned run average. She appeared in 21 games, including 14 starts, recording eight complete-games and four shutouts. Follette led UWL in wins (10), ERA (1.92), appearances (21), starts (14), complete-games (8), shutouts (4), innings (105.2) and strikeouts (88). She held opponents to a .218 batting average.
Amber Gonzalez recorded
10 multiple-hit games.
She went at least at 5.0 innings in 10 games this year, including a season-high 10.0 innings in a 2-1 victory at UW-Stout on May 2. Named the WIAC Pitcher of the Week for April 27-May 3, Follette went 7.0 innings in a complete-game 4-0 win at UW-River Falls on April 29. Along with the start versus UW-Stout, Follette went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA with a pair of complete-games.
She was also selected the WIAC Pitcher of the Week for March 30-April 5, going 2-0 with a 0.69 ERA. Follette earned a victory over the University of Dubuque (Iowa) on March 30 and at MSOE (Wis.) on April 3.
Follette earned the victory over third-ranked Saint Mary's University (Minn.) on April 22, going 9.0 innings in the 1-0 win. She allowed two hits and four walks while striking out three as UWL snapped Saint Mary's (Minn.) 17-game winning streak. Follette did not allow a hit until a two-out single in the top of the seventh.
Brooke Howard earned her third
career All-WIAC honor.
She had at least six strikeouts in seven games with a season-high nine in a 3-0 complete-game 7.0 inning victory over SUNY Geneseo on March 18. Follette is fourth in the WIAC in innings (105.2) and strikeouts (88) while ranking eighth in opponents' batting average (.218) and ERA (1.92).
Gonzalez started all 40 games this season, finishing third on the team in hitting at .311. She recorded a hit in 23 games, including 10 multiple-hit contests. Gonzalez had a season-high four hits in the second game of a doubleheader versus UW-Stout on May 2. She went seven-for-10 in the doubleheader against the Blue Devils, collecting three hits in the opener.
She finished with three hits versus Hiram College (Ohio) on March 14 and UW-Whitewater on April 10. Gonzalez had a season-high two runs and two RBI in four different games.
Marissa Pease led UWL with 26 RBI.
Gonzalez was second for UWL in at-bats (122), hits (38), walks (12) and hit-by-pitch (4) while finishing third in runs (19) and doubles (6). She was fourth in total bases (44) and slugging percentage (.361) and finished fifth in stolen bases (6) and RBI (15).
It is Howard's third career All-WIAC selection after being named to the 2024 and 2025 first team. Howard started all 38 games she appeared in this season, hitting .309. Registering a hit in 25 contests, Howard had 13 games with two hits.
Howard scored a run in 19 contests with a season-high two in five different games. She finished with a season-high three RBI versus Kalamazoo College (Mich.) on March 20.
The team leader in at-bats (123) and triples (4) in 2026, Howard was second for UWL in runs (24), hits (38), sacrifice bunts (3) and sacrifice flies (2). She was third in doubles (6), slugging percentage (.423), RBI (22) and total bases (52) while ranking fourth in batting average (.309). She is tied for the team lead in triples and ranks ninth in at-bats.
Aliyah Langrehr played in 17 games.
Pease earned her second career all-conference recognition. She was selected to the 2023 All-WIAC Honorable Mention Team. Pease hit .314 this season, having at least one hit in 24 of her 40 starts. She had nine games with multiple-hit, including a season-high three in four contests.
Finishing with a team-high 26 RBI, Pease finished with multiple-RBI in eight games. She had a team-high four RBI versus Farmingdale State College (N.Y.) on March 18. Pease had a season-high three runs against Trinity (Conn.), going 2-for-2 with a home run, walk and three RBI.
Along with leading UWL in RBI (26), Pease ranked first in doubles (13) and finished second in batting average (.314), slugging percentage (.492), home runs (2), total bases (58) and sacrifice bunts (2). She was fourth in at-bats (118), runs (17), hits (37) and walks (10). Pease is tied for fourth in the conference in doubles.
Langrehr was selected for the 2026 All-Sportsmanship Team, chosen for individuals that displayed exemplary sportsmanship throughout the season. It includes one member from each school. Langrehr appeared in 17 games with four starts in 2026. She scored a run in four games and recorded a pair of RBI versus UW-Eau Claire on April 25.
UWL finished 23-17 overall and 7-7 in the WIAC under third-year head coach Samantha Korn.
