Birmingham, Ala. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track and field team finished fourth at the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Indoor Championships Saturday night at the Birmingham Crossplex.
The Eagles totaled 38.0 team points. Washington University in St. Louis (Mo.) captured the national title with 54.0 points with Williams College (Mass.) second with 44.0 and Centre University (Ky.) third with 43.0.
The 4x400-meter relay placed second.
Johns Hopkins University (Md.) was fifth (31.0) followed by Calvin College (Mich.) sixth (28.0), SUNY Geneseo seventh (26.0) and Massachusetts Institute of Technology eighth (20.5). UW-Platteville and Tufts University (Mass.) tied for ninth (20.0). A total of 96 teams competed in the championships with 61 scoring points.
The Southern Athletic Association and the Birmingham CrossPlex are served as hosts of the championships.
It is UWL's 16th top four finish at the NCAA Division III Championships. The Eagles have won two (2015, 2023) national titles and placed second six (1993, 1999, 2001, 2009, 2014, 2022) times.
The Eagles earned 11 All-America honors on Saturday.
On the track, UWL placed second in the 4x400-meter relay as
Anna Plautz,
Zoe Lain,
Macy Reybrock and
Andie Otto set a school record with a time of 3:45.28. The relay broke their own school record of 3:45.33 set in Friday's preliminaries.
Anna Plautz was fourth in the
400-meter dash.
It is the second career All-America honor in the 4x400-meter relay for Plautz, Reybrock and Otto who were member of the third-place squad in 2025.
Plautz also earned individual All-America honors with a fourth-place finish in the 400-meter dash with a UWL record 55.45. It is her first career individual All-America award. She broke her own school record of 55.47 set earlier this season.
The Eagles'
Brooklyn Luebke placed 10th in the 3,000-meter run on Saturday with a school record 9:40.37. She broke her own school record of 9:43.80 set this year. Luebke earned NCAA III Second Team All-America awards.
In Saturday's field events,
Ainsley Hansen earned an All-America award as she tied for sixth (5-7) in the high jump. It is her second career honor after placing second in 2023.
Mackenzey Kronberg and
Maya Evans picked up All-America First Team accolades in the triple jump with Kronberg finishing fifth (39-8 ¾) and Evans eighth (39-4). It was Kronberg's first career All-America award and third for Evans, who finished eighth in the long jump on Friday and 12th in 2025.
The Eagles'
Emily Blaskowski was 16th (36-11) in the triple jump with
Jaden Hackel 17th (36-7 ½). Blaskowski earned NCAA III Second Team All-America honors.
Brooklyn Luebke
Madilyn Vander Sanden was 14th (42-7 ½) in the shot put to earn an NCAA Second Team All-America award.
The top-eight individual and relay teams earn NCAA Division III First Team All-America honors while athletes finishing ninth through 16
th individually and ninth through 12
th in relays are named NCAA III Second Team All-America.
