Rogers, Minn. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's tennis team fell, 5-2 at Bethel University (Minn.) Sunday afternoon at the Rogers Tennis Club.
The Eagles drop to 8-3 on the season while the Royals improve to 6-1.
UWL earned the team point in doubles, winning two of three matches.

Tyler Schneider defeated Dylan Magistad/Carter Sheard at No. 1 doubles (6-0) while

Aiden Meixl earned the victory at No. 2 doubles (6-2) over Zack Chaffey/Watson Sheard.
The Royals' Micah Gustafson/Zach Bengston defeated the Eagles'
Cole Contardi/
Alex Aranda at No. 3 doubles (6-2).
Kyle Hehli earned UWL's lone win in singles, defeating Chaffey at No. 3 (3-6, 6-2, 10-3). Bethel's (Minn.) Sheard beat Schneider at No. 1 (6-3, 6-7, 10-4) with Magistad defeating Meixl at No. 2 (6-1, 2-6, 11-9).
Sheard earned the win at No. 4 singles (6-3, 6-2) over Contardi while Kade Bishop defeating
Luke Hinchcliffe at No. 5 (6-1, 5-7, 10-6) and Micah Gustafson beat
Brady Horstmann at No. 6 (6-1, 6-3).
UWL returns to action Saturday, March 7 opening Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) play at UW-Eau Claire at noon.
