Platteville, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's track and field team captured its sixth straight Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Indoor Championship (presented by Culver's) Saturday night in UW-Platteville's Williams Fieldhouse.
The Eagles finished with 328.0 team points to win their 32nd (1978-81, 1983, 1985-87, 1994, 1997, 2000-05, 2007-10, 2013-18, 2020, 2022-26) conference title in school history and 13th in the last 14 years. The 32 championships are the most in WIAC history.
UWL's 328.0 points are the most in conference history at the indoor championships, breaking UWL's previous record of 324.0 points in 2023.
UW-Eau Claire placed second Saturday with 109.25 points with UW-Oshkosh third with 53.0 and UW-Stevens Point fourth with 45.0. UW-Platteville finished fifth (44.0) followed by UW-River Falls (30.5), UW-Stout (27.0) and UW-Whitewater (26.25).

In Saturday's action, UWL won five titles, including four individual and one relay. The Eagles'
Amber Grosse took the pentathlon (3,535 points) with
Maya Evans capturing the triple jump (39-10 ¼).
On the track,
Regan Scott won the 60-meter hurdles (8.81) and
Anika Reiland the 200-meter dash (24.94) with
Anna Plautz,
Zoe Lain,
Macy Reybrock and
Andie Otto capturing the 4x400-meter relay (3:49.13).
Along with Grosse winning the title in the pentathlon, the Eagles'
Madeline Thoreson was third (3,324 points),
Audrey Braun fourth (3,282) and
Noelle Hackenmueller fifth (3,201). The pentathlon includes the 60-meter hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump and 800-meter run. Grosse is the first to win for UWL since Skylar White in 2023.
UWL has won the last five triple jump conference titles with Evans' first-place finish on Saturday.
Samantha Barrett, who won the crown in 2024 and 2025, place second (38-4 ¼) on Saturday with
Jaden Hackel third (37-1),
Mackenzey Kronberg fifth (36-11 ¼) and
Ashley Davies sixth (36-9 ¾).
Scott became the first sprinter to win the 60-meter hurdles for UWL since Emma Lawrence in 2023. It is the second league title at this year's championships for Scott after winning the long jump on Friday.
Megan Zemke was second (8.85),
Olivia Navin third (8.88) and
Brie Eckerman sixth (9.09) in the 60-meter hurdles on Saturday.
UWL won the 4x400-meter relay
for the seventh straight season.
The Eagles had six of the top-eight finishers in the 200-meter dash. Along with Reiland's first-place finish, Plautz was third (25.11),
Makenna Zak fourth (25.27),
Marley McIntyre fifth (25.53),
Julie Yang seventh (25.65) and
Taylor Molling eighth (25.72). It is UWL's second straight title in the event after
Lauren Jarrett captured the crown last season.
It is the seventh straight season UWL has captured the 4x400-meter relay, including the third straight year for Plautz and second consecutive for Reybrock and Otto. This year's relay broke the conference record of 3:49.31 set in 2025 by Plautz, Otto, Reybrock and
Morgan Jennings.
UWL's
Ella Puls finished second (58-6) and
Jadyn Roden seventh (55-5) in the weight throw on Saturday.
On the track, the Eagles had five of the top-seven finishers in the 60-meter dash with Yang second (7.55), Zak third (7.61),
McKenna Sedlacek fourth (7.68), Molling fifth (7.74) and Reiland seventh (7.76).
Four of the top-seven finishers in Saturday's 800-meter run were from UWL, including
Kalli Vannieuwenhoven placing second (2:17.06). The Eagles'
Natasha Tiry was fourth (2:18.72),
Kylie Stockton fifth (2:18.78) and
Alli Thomas seventh (2:19.17).
Lucile Duchac finished fifth (10:13.33),
Elizabeth Schwartz seventh (10:22.63) and Milano Pisto eighth (10:24.86) in the 3,000-meter run.
UWL returns to action Friday, March 6 at the Wartburg College (Iowa) Final Qualifier at 1:30 p.m.
