Decorah, Iowa – The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse men's tennis team split a pair of matches Saturday at Luther College (Iowa).
The Eagles earned a 7-0 victory over Loras College (Iowa) before falling 4-3 to Luther (Iowa).
UWL is now 8-2 on the season.

Tyler Schneider picked up a 6-3 win at No. 1 doubles while

Cole Contardi earned a 6-0 victory at No. 2 doubles.
Luke Hinchcliffe/
Brady Horstmann won at No. 3 doubles with a 6-2 win.
In singles competition, UWL swept the six matches.
Aiden Meixl won at No. 1 singles (7-5, 6-2),
Kyle Hehli at No. 2 (6-1, 6-1), Contardi at No. 3 (6-2, 6-0), Hinchcliffe at No. 4 (6-3, 6-0), Horstmann at No. 5 (6-3, 6-3) and
Jack Hehli at No. 6 (6-1, 3-6, 10-5).
Luther (Iowa) earned the team point in doubles in its victory over UWL.
Kyle Hehli/Meixl earned the Eagles' win at No. 2 doubles by the score of 6-4.
The teams split the six singles matches. UWL's Schneider earned the win at No. 1 singles (4-6, 6-3, 10-4) while Contardi won at No. 4 (6-4, 6-3) and Hinchcliffe at No. 5 (6-3, 6-1).
UWL returns to action Sunday, March 1 at Bethel University (Minn.) in Rogers, Minnesota at 11 a.m.
