La Crosse, Wis. - Three members of the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse wrestling team have been named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-District® At-Large Team.

Leo Draveling of
Hudson (H.S.) and
Marcus Orlandoni of
Fond du Lac (St. Mary's Springs) were recognized Tuesday.
Carter, an exercise sport science major with a 3.71 cumulative grade point average, finished 31-16 this season. He went 18-9 at 197-pounds and 13-7 at 285.
He placed third at the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) Championships at 285-pounds with a 3-1 record. Carter finished 38-23 in his career. He has earned a pair of selections to the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
Majoring in business analysis, Draveling maintains a 3.59 grade point average. He finished 28-6 overall, including 27-5 at 174 and 1-1 at 184.
Draveling was also third at the WIAC Championships, finishing 4-1 at 174-pounds. He went 65-22 in his UWL career. Draveling is a four-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and two-time member of the National Wrestling Coaches Association (NWCA) Scholar All-America Team.
Orlandoni, a two-time CSC Academic All-District® selection, is a biology major with a 3.65 grade point average. He was named the 2024-25 WIAC Scholar-Athlete in wrestling. Orlandoni is a four-time member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll and three-year member of the NWCA Scholar All-America Team.
He captured the 2025 National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Championships at 184-pounds with a 4-0 record. Orlandoni became the second wrestler in school history to win the 184-pound national title, joining Jeremy Miller who won the title in 2000.
He also competed in the 2024 NCAA III Championships and earned a pair of second-place finishes (2024, 2025) at the NCAA Division III Upper Midwest Regional.
Orlandoni recorded four top-five finishes at the WIAC Championships, including a league title in 2025. He was second at 184-pounds in 2024 while placing third at 197-pounds in 2022 and fifth in 197 at 2023.
Orlandoni went 20-3 this season and finished 81-29 in his career.
The 2025 Academic All-District® Men's At-Large teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances in competition and in the classroom. The CSC Academic All-America® program separately recognizes at-large honorees in four divisions — NCAA Division I, NCAA Division II, NCAA Division III and NAIA.
NCAA and NAIA Men's At-Large Academic All-America® First-, second- and third-team honorees will be announced on Wednesday, July 9, 2025.
The Division II and III CSC Academic All-America® programs are partially financially supported by the NCAA Division II and III national governance structures to assist CSC with handling the awards fulfillment aspects for the Divisions II and III Academic All-America® programs. The NAIA CSC Academic All-America® program is partially financially supported through the NAIA governance structure.
