George Seaman of
Jackson (West Bend East) has been voted to the American Baseball Coaches Association (ABCA)/Rawlings All-America Third Team announced by the organization on Thursday night at the Opening Ceremony of the National Collegiate Athletic Association Division III College World Series in Eastlake, Ohio.
The ABCA/Rawlings All-America teams are selected by members of the ABCA All-America committees. ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team selections, which were announced Tuesday, were eligible for All-America honors. The ABCA All-America team was first recognized in 1949 and now includes nine divisions: NCAA Divisions I, II and III, NAIA, NJCAA Divisions I, II and III, Pacific Association Division, and high school.

- This is the first All-America honor for Seaman who was named to ABCA/Rawlings All-Region First Team and D3baseball.com All-Region First Team earlier this week.
- Seaman started all 46 games this season for the Eagles, leading the team in batting average (.366), hits (67), total bases (125), runs scored (50), home runs (16), walks (27) and slugging percentage (.683).
- He also ranked second on the team in runs batted in (53) and stolen bases (10).
- With his 16 home runs this season, Seaman finishes his Eagles career with a school record 55.The career home run total also ranks second all-time in the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC).
- He finished the year with 18 multi-hit games including six games with at least three hits.
- Defensively, Seaman finished with just one error all season and a .997 fielding percentage.
- For the second straight season, Seaman was selected to the WIAC First Team.
- Seaman is just the 10th player in school history to be named an ABCA All-American.
