HOW DID IT HAPPEN
- Leading 5-4 early in the first quarter, UWL went on a 9-1 run to lead 14-5 with 2:03 remaining. After a Kyla Overskei jumper for UW-Eau Claire, Kailee Meeker made a three-pointer along with one-of-two free throws to give UWL a 18-7 lead at the end of the first quarter.
- The Eagles scored six of the first seven points of the second quarter to extend its lead to 23-8 (6:56). UW-Eau Claire slowly chipped away at their deficit and pulled within 25-17 with 3:13 left in the half. Katie Waukau ended the Blugolds scoring run with a three-pointer and led 30-21 at halftime.
- UW-Eau Claire opened the second half with a three-pointer by Anna Koth however that would be as close as the Blugolds would get as they went on a 12-5 run to extend their lead to 40-26(6:20). Ali Sprangers and Malia Nelson started the run with back-to-back three-pointers for the Eagles. Sprangers would hit another three-pointer for the final points of the third quarter as UWL led 53-35.
- Meeker hit a three-pointer on the opening possession of the fourth quarter as UWL would score eight straight points to take its largest lead of the game at 61-35 with 8:00 remaining. UW-Eau Claire would not get any closer than 17 (73-50) the rest of the way.

- As a team, the Eagles finished 26-of-62 (41.9%) from the floor including 10-of-32 (31.3%) from the three-point line. UWL was also eight-of-11 (72.7%) from the free throw line.
- Nelson led three Eagles in double figures with 16 points while Meeker finished with 11 and Sprangers added 10.
- Milne and Janke each grabbed a team high seven rebounds to help give UWL a 46-32 edge on the boards.
- UW-Eau Claire shot 22-of-58 (37.9%) from the floor including three-of-14 (21.4%) from three point line. THe Blugolds were also six-of14 (42.9%) from the free throw line.
- Kyla Overskei led the Blugolds with 12 points while Anna Koth added eight points and a team high seven rebounds.
