Aubree Caya of
Oregon (H.S.) has been voted to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division III Academic All-America® First Team, the organization announced Wednesday.
She was named to the 2025 United Soccer Coaches All-North/Central Region Scholar First Team earlier Wednesday.
Caya set single-season school records in goals, points and shots.
Caya is one of 12 student-athletes named to this year's CSC Academic All-America® First Team. She is the only student-athlete from the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (WIAC) to earn CSC Academic All-America® honors this season. Caya was named to the 2025 College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District® Team in November.
Majoring in biomedical sciences with a 3.83 grade point average, Caya was named to the 2025 All-WIAC First Team. She was voted the WIAC Offensive Player of the Year and a three-time conference player of the week selection.
Setting single-season school records with 24 goals, 55 points and 91 shots in 2025, Caya led the WIAC in goals, points, shots, and shots on goal (58) this season. She broke
Jennifer Tischaefer's school records of 19 goals in 1997 and 1999 and 50 points in 1997. Caya's 91 shots broke the single-season school record 86 set by
Ainsley Allan in 2022.
Caya tied for the WIAC lead in game-winning goals (4) while finishing tied for seventh in assists (7). She tied for fourth for UWL in assists. Caya started 22 games this season.
She is a two-year member of the WIAC Scholastic Honor Roll.
Caya is the fifth student-athlete in UWL soccer history to earn CSC Academic All-America® accolades, including the fourth to garner first team honors.
Kristin Brown (2011),
Sophia Anger (2023) and
Alexis McMahon (2024) were named to the first team.
Ellie Arndt (2024) earned second team honors.
UWL finished 19-3-1 overall and 6-0-1 in the WIAC this season under head coach
Jason Murphy. The Eagles won the WIAC regular season and tournament titles while advancing to the NCAA Division III Second Round.
