Box Score La Crosse, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse lacrosse team improve to 3-0 on the season with an 11-4 victory over Edgewood College (Wis.) Wednesday night at Veterans Memorial Field Sports Complex. The Eagles of Edgewood (Wis.) drop to 1-3 on the year.

UWL got off to a fast start on Wednesday, scoring five first period goals.

Ava Schiltz scored the game's next two goals for the Eagles, the first with 9:35 remaining an
Angie Olla assist and the second with 7:06 left. Schiltz' first goal came a man-up.
Megan Maloney extended the lead to 5-0 with a pair of goals, notching an unassisted goal with 2:57 left and a goal with :42 remaining on a
Britta Nelson assist.Â
Edgewood (Wis.) cut the halftime lead to 6-3 with three goals in the second quarter. Remma Raupp scored with 7:58 left to make it 5-1, but Willmott tallied her second goal for UWL with 7:01 remaining on

Lydia Spencer's assist with 8:11 remaining. Raupp scored her third goal of the game for Edgewood (Wis.) to cut it 8-4 with 6:40 left, but Schiltz made it a five-goal lead with 2:33 remaining.Â
Maloney tallied her third goal of the game for UWL with 12:51 left for a 10-4 advantage and Schiltz finished the scoring with her fifth goal with 5:13 remaining.Â

Abigale Furlano earned the win, finishing with eight saves.
UWL finished with 29 shots, including 19 on goal. Schiltz recorded five goals on eight shots while Maloney finished with three goals on five shots. Willmott had two goals on seven shots while adding one assist.
