West Salem, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's cross country team, ranked 15th on this week's U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) NCAA Division III Poll, captured the Tori Neubauer Invitational Saturday morning at Maple Grove Venues, LLC. It is the Eagles' 14th Neubauer title in school history, including seventh in the last 10 seasons.
UWL finished with 21 team points while South Dakota State University was second with 113 and Paradise Valley Community College (Ariz.) third with 125. A total of 20 teams competed.

Gwen Hinz won the individual title with a time of 22:07.6 on the 6,000-meter course. UWL had seven runners finish in the top-10. Along with Hinz placing first,
Madelynn McIntyre was third (22:26.8),
Katelyn Chadwick fourth (22:33.0),
Madison Twarling sixth (22:37.5),
Brooklyn Luebke seventh (22:39.0),
Sierra Rabe ninth (22:52.7) and
Karlie Meyer 10th (22:57.8).
Hinz is the first UWL runner to win the individual title since Emma Malooly in 2021.
Elizabeth Schwartz finished 19th (23:14.5) for UWL while
Lucy Duchac placed 22nd (23:18.5),
Julia Zalewski 23rd (23:21.7),
Kaleigh Burns 24th (23:21.8) and
Lily Higgins 29th (23:25.0).
