Colfax, Wis. - The University of Wisconsin-La Crosse women's cross country placed 11th at the UW-Eau Claire Blugold Invitational Friday at Whitetail Golf Course. The Eagles finished with 322 team points while Carleton College (Minn.) won the team title with 40. St. Olaf College (Minn.) was second with 87. A total of 25 teams competed.
UWL's
Lucy Duchac was the Eagles' top finisher, completing the 6,000-meter course in 23:48.30.
Becca Immer was 58th (23:57.40),
Greta Koehler 71st (24:11.10),
Brooklyn Luebke 85th (24:27.20),
Jessica Immer 87th (24:28.40),
Lilly Higgins 89th (24:28.50) and
Ella Pahl 90th (24:29.70).
Karlie Meyer placed 103rd (24:48.60) while
Riley Kayler was 109th (24:52.90) and
Olivia Pietras 127th (25:17.50). A total of 242 runners completed the race.
In the Open Race, the Eagles'
Andrea Butz placed second (24:21.90) with
Jocelyn Aprill 10th (25:01.70). UWL's
Molly Novotny finished 14th (25:07.30),
Grace Bisswurm 20th (25:21.30),
Elizabeth Schwartz 21st (25:22.80),
Elena Kozich 22nd (25:29.30),
Eileen Zopel 24th (25:30.20) and
Ella Woodworth 25th (25:30.60).
Jessica Wilson finished 26th (25:31.80) with
Kiara Gentz 36th (26:01.90),
Emma Windingland 40th (26:07.80),
Bryn Sato 42nd (26:10.40),
Mackenzie Ginder 51st (26:27.50),
Anna Meilahn 86th (27:35.30) and
Brooklyn Radtke 122nd (29:14.10). A total of 171 runners finished the Open Race.
